The yurt can comfortably seat around 12–15 people at the same time, but with some flexibility, it can accommodate a slightly larger group.
A guided traditional sauna ceremony lasts about two hours. However, it’s recommended to plan your sauna session with a relaxed schedule.
The yurt sauna itself does not have a hot water tank. Washing arrangements are discussed with the customer on a case-by-case basis, depending on the location.
Depending on the sauna location, light beach or water shoes may be useful. PihkaSauna provides sauna mats and one towel per guest.
This is entirely up to each guest or sauna group to decide.
Sauna is safest when enjoyed sober. The sauna is intended as a space for relaxation and calm, so we kindly ask that no personal alcoholic beverages be brought into the sauna during the ceremony.
PihkaSauna supplies the firewood needed for the sauna ceremony. For longer, free-use sessions, the customer is responsible for providing firewood. This can be arranged on a case-by-case basis.
PihkaSauna’s yurt sauna is a safe and respectful space. Just as in the forest, disruptive behavior is not appropriate. Any behavior that creates negative energy is prohibited.
